——⛓️‍💥Middle Grounds 2026 ⛓️‍💥——

We know we’ve been quiet and under the radar for a while now, but it’s because MG had to undergo some changes.

We’re very excited to announce that our new members are Anton Popov on guitar and Corne Nezar on bass!!

Many of you will already recognise these lads since Anton is also in Drunk Wizard and Danny Ylang Band and Corné is in Crash And The Void , all extremely talented bands and we are so amped to be sharing members with them ⛓️‍💥👾

When selecting the new members it was extremely important to the rest of the MG crew that besides being able to play the tracks, there are TWO key requirements:

1. High Energy and Stage Presence.

2. To Gel perfectly with the rest of the crew.

And nobody could have met these requirements quite as well as Anton And Corné.

We have been cooking in the rehearsal space (Asylum Studios ) AND in the studio (Son Studios with Kyle Botha ) We can’t wait to catch you guys at upcoming shows where we may or may not be playing some unreleased stuff. ⛓️‍💥

We want to also thank Ruan Correia for lending us his talent, jokes and insane steeze for the past couple years. We love you broski <3

And of course we want to say thank you to Matty G for bringing the crazy energy that MG is now known for. You’re a legend brother and we were honoured to have you.

Matty will still be involved with MG behind the scenes while he lives his best life with his amazing wife Courtney G at his side 🤍

We’re back and more dedicated than ever.
