Middle Grounds is a four piece Hardcore/Metalcore band from South Africa. They like to blend classic hardcore sounds with more modern Metalcore and Trap elements. Middle Grounds' music and lyrical content is heavily influenced by bands like LANDMVRKS, Alpha Wolf and Rage Against The Machine. They tackle real life problems and actual situations through their Lyrics. The band started in late 2021 by Frontman Brandon Render and ex-Guitarist Kyle Botha and then subsequently joined by Drummer Tristan Krause, Matthew Grunewald on Bass and Ruan Correia replacing Kyle Botha in 2023. They released their first single “There Is Never Peace” on the 4th Of February 2022 accumulating over 15 000 streams since then. Shortly after on the 30th of September 2022 they released their Debut album "Looking For God In New Places” that has accumulated more than 100 000 streams in less than a year. Middle Grounds would go on to win the Wacken Metal battle of Southern Africa and go to Represent Southern Africa at Wacken Open Air 2023, the biggest metal festival in the world, in Germany.
